Your responsibilities

Operate lift trucks, overhead crane, hand trucks, manipulators, and all other material handling equipment to move material and finished parts throughout the various departments. This is a 2nd shift position.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace
  • Load and unload truck for shipments to warehouse, sub-contractors or to customers. Unload materials as received from vendors
  • Move materials to proper work locations inside and outside plant
  • Remove trash and scrap containers to proper supervision
  • Move in process rings with forklift (or at times with grab lift manipulator) throughout the plant
  • Service material handling equipment as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Team Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Participate and focus upon efforts of continuous improvement to develop and implement changes to procedures, programs, and policies that foster efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere with co-workers
  • Maintain work area in compliance with good housekeeping practices
  • Must comply with all EHS policies and procedures

Export Control:

This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
