Purpose of Job: TOTE Services is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Machinery/Systems Inspector under the Vessel Construction Management (VCM) contract to build, outfit, and deploy the National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV) for the Maritime Administration (MARAD). This position will be in Philadelphia, PA at Hanwha Philly Shipyard and will report directly to the TOTE Services Chief Inspector. This individual will oversee the installation and testing of all machinery, equipment, piping, and other systems onboard the vessels to verify performance and compliance with the contract requirements. The selected candidate must also demonstrate a deep commitment to safety by supporting and adhering to a shipyard safety program that aligns with TOTE Services' core values and organizational objectives. Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Machinery-Systems Inspector will represent TOTE Services by providing experienced oversight of the installation and testing activities during vessel fabrication. The individual must demonstrate a broad knowledge of marine systems and coordinate with a team of fellow subject matter experts to carry out the following fundamental duties:
