Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (HDVCH) offers an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced pediatric psychotherapist.

HDVCH is seeking an LMSW/LPC to join our Pediatric Psychotherapist team. The Pediatric Behavioral Health department is a multi-disciplinary practice comprised of Psychiatrists, APP's (PA-C and NP), Psychologists and Social Workers, and has a collaborative approach to care.

HDVCH is looking for an outpatient pediatric psychotherapist to provide services to patients, including performing diagnostic examinations of the patient's psychosocial functioning, developing treatment plans and goals consistent with the needs of the patient, utilizing evidence based treatment modalities in a manner which meets the standards of the profession and changing needs of the patient, documenting plans, interventions and the patient's response/involvement, and participating in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities. The pediatric psychotherapist will demonstrate teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities and ensure that work performed supports Corewell Health's mission to improve health, inspire hope, and instill humanity.

Qualifications

  • Required Master's Degree Social Work

  • LIC-Professional Counselor (LPC) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

  • LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
