Inbound/Outbound Lead

INBOUND/OUTBOUND LEAD:

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse team leader for our government client in Albany, GA. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.

Specific Duties:

• Oversee and direct daily administrative processes and procedures for Inbound/Outbound.
• Maintain warehouse staff by orienting and training employees.
• Ensure to address systemic issues, provide performance metrics, increase productivity, and assuage operational friction points.
• Confirming that NSN and quantity of assets matches DD1348s, noting and reporting discrepancies.
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Utilizing inventory management tools.
• Delivers and fulfills objectives and directions for the operation's headquarters.
• Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Briefs team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
• Communicate with management to confirm execution of supply and logistical processes.
• Ensures the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.

Required Education/Qualifications:

• Associate in Business/Management or 2 years equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC
• Two or more years of warehouse experience.
• Understanding computer operations to utilize inventory management tools, spreadsheets, and monitoring status of materials.
• Comprehensive competency in Microsoft Excel is critical.
