a.i. solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to assist the PM in the management of the TEAMS Next QMA contract and staff across the scope of the SOW. The selected candidate will also assist the Huntsville Army Market Director in accomplishment of activities as needed to support the mission and staff. This candidate will support the operating unit to further advance the strategic plan and goals. The successful candidate will be able to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Lead the TEAMS Next QMA Team to accomplish excellent collaboration and support for our stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic vision, leadership, and innovation to solve problems and mentor our staff in accomplishing our stakeholders' mission.
  • In coordination with the Contract Program Manager, the following are the TEAMS Next SOW actions for the PM/PMI:

    • Meet the TEAMS Next Contract Program Management (Intermediate) LCAT requirements
    • Manage and execute all activities under this contract, including those of subcontractors, suppliers, and any and all sub-tier vendors.
    • Serve as the focal point to the Government Contracting Office Point of Contact (POC). The PMI is primary focal point to each of the 3-ltr stakeholders (QSP, QSI, GMQ, TCQ, etc.) per our communication plan
    • Conduct and integrate all aspects of the contract such as schedule, cost, risk and opportunity management.
    • Provide the necessary administration required to support the contract.
    • Schedule monthly meetings (i.e. End of Month Briefs), and discussions with Stakeholders on programmatic and technical topics related to: Contractor performance; Hiring status; Travel and other direct cost projections and funding status; Identify, estimate and report to Government contacts expected increases to budget prior to cost being incurred; Develop alternative approaches to accomplishing increases in tasks without increases to budget




Minimum Qualifications:




  • Minimum of 15 years experience, most of which is in the government contracting environment - MDA experience is a plus. Prior management, supervisory or technical lead experience is required. Prior business operations experience is a plus.


  • BA/BS Degree
  • Experience in interfacing directly with Govt representatives and supervising multiple contractor teams and team leads.
  • Experience identifying, projecting and reporting upcoming impacts to budgets.
  • Experience developing alternative approaches to accomplishing tasks without increasing the budget

  • U.S. Citizen


  • Current Secret clearance

  • Ability to engage in a broad range of organizational issues and provide critical input to help the organization deliver excellence to the customer, solve problems, develop the people and drive growth for the business.
