UDR, Inc. is now hiring an Executive Assistant - CFO to join our team at our corporate office in Highlands Ranch. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Provide high-level executive support to the Senior Vice President /Chief Financial Officer and broader administrative related services for the Finance department. Handles details of a confidential nature and performs administrative functions. Requires broad knowledge of corporate operations and policy and a high level of experience, discretion, and technical skill. High standards of performance and integrity combined with demonstrated sound judgment in a variety of situations are essential. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Manage supervisor's calendar and independently schedule appointments. 2. Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents. 3. Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compile documents for travel-related meetings, and manage changes to travel in real time. 4. Create and maintain expense reports. Review expense reports for policy compliance and processing. 5. Prepare documents for signature by the appropriate party and notarize as needed and required. 6. Read and route incoming mail. Locate and attach appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer. 7. Coordinate and arrange internal and external meetings and conference calls., prepare agendas, and reserve and prepare facilities. 8. Conduct thorough research, analyze data from various sources, and compile comprehensive reports to provide insights and support decision-making. 9. Proactively identify problems and suggest solutions. 10. Compose and type routine correspondence. 11. Organize and maintain filing system, file correspondence and other records. Ensure protection and security of files and records. 12. Greet scheduled visitors and accompany them to the appropriate area or person. 13. Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials. 14. Arrange programs, events, or conferences by arranging facilities and catering, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling the event budget. 15. Compile, merge, print and bind presentations and other documents. 16. Oversee special projects as assigned. 17. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Some bending, stooping, and stretching. Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Extensive data input and required ability to sit for long periods of time. Regular and consistent attendance on the job is an essential function. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. Must be able to travel as required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred. High School diploma with four to six years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 2. Minimum of five years' related experience as an executive level administrative/secretarial position is required. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, inclusive of Excel and PowerPoint required. 4. Proficiency in Adobe applications required. 5. Notary preferred. Benefits Offered:
