Lead Collector

The Georgia Business Center, a consolidated Central Business Office providing billing and collection services for multiple Universal Health Services (UHS) affililated hospitals, is searching for an experienced medical collector with a leadership background for a newly created LEAD COLLECTOR position.

In this new role, you will be responsible for your assigned day to day medical collections accounts. And, in addition, you will be responsible for motivating and engaging your assigned collectors to be the best they can be. Besides completing medical collections on your assigned accounts, you will conduct audits, follow-up on high dollar claims, train and mentor collectors, identify trends related to billing and reimbursement and complete appeals.

Bachelors degree in a business related field is preferred. High school graduate is required.

Three years collections experience in the medical field is required, five years medical collections experience is preferred.

Previous experience leading and motivating team members is also required.
