Test Engineering Manager - NSK Corporation

Test Engineering Manager Role

This individual will manage testing and/or analysis activities for ATC, inclusive of EA, Chassis, Drive Train, and Industrial products. They will be responsible for all scheduling, testing, report generation, and PM. This individual will support representatives from the various business units as necessary and closely coordinate testing and/or analysis procedure development, test stand design, and correlation testing with other NSK Technical Centers in order to ensure ATC is seen as a viable, stand alone, A2LA accredited test facility.

Responsibilities



  • Understands testing or analysis effort by analyzing the requirements of the project.
  • Estimates and obtains management support for the time, resources, and budget required to perform testing and/or analysis.
  • Develops test and/or analysis plan for the tasks, dependencies, and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality. Obtains stakeholder support for this plan.
  • Assigns tasks to all team members and ensures that all workloads are balanced to support needed projects.
  • Ensures content and structure of all testing and/or analysis documents, artifacts are documented and maintained.
  • Documents, implements, monitors, and enforces all processes for testing and/or analysis as per standards defined by the organization.
  • Tracks and prepares reports for testing and/or analysis activities including testing results, analysis results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered, and performance baselines.


Qualifications



  • This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8 to 10 years of position-related experience; preferably over 10 years of position-related experience.
