Patient Service Specialist - Provider Support

MaineHealth Cardiology - Scarborough | MaineHealth

Location: Scarborough, ME
Department: MaineHealth Cardiology
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (consistent schedule)
Remote Flexibility: Rotating weekly remote schedule (2-3 days onsite required)

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to support our providers in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 6 months of medical clerical experience who is looking to be part of a collaborative and established department.

As a PSS in our provider support team, you'll play a key role in maintaining efficient front-office operations while working closely with physicians and fellow team members. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and thrives in a patient-centered environment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
