We are hiring an Applications Support Specialist, Finance/Accounting What You'll Do: System Management. Serve as primary system administrator for accounting and land administration software systems. This will include monitoring automated reports, managing support issues, and ensuring process compliance. The selected candidate will manage ongoing application maintenance and the implementation of new features and enhancements, along with providing end-user support addressing technical issues, best practices, and new functionalities. Develop and maintain process mapping documents & procedures. Maintenance Support. Closing support to include ledger and chart of accounts maintenance. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Reporting. Develop, maintain, and produce reports. Ensure Compliance. Maintain process integrity and work with accounting staff to ensure compliance with audit and financial standards. Maintain Security. Maintain application security, including user management, roles, and permission assignments to ensure proper separation of duties is maintained on both a technical and functional level. Skills You'll Need: Education. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or an associated field is required. Experience. Familiarity with relational databases is desired. Prior system administration experience is required. Experience with Blackline, Lucernex, Oracle Fixed Assets, and Oracle projects is desired, but not required. Accounting Skills. General understanding of accounting principles, including internal controls. Interpersonal Skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Organizational Skills.
