Summary: UNC Therapy Services, the outpatient orthopedic therapy division of the Rehabilitation Services Department at UNC Medical Center, is now accepting applications for a Physical Therapist II - Clinical Specialist. Located at the Ambulatory Care Center in Chapel Hill, NC, this role is designed for an experienced therapist with at least 5 years of expertise in outpatient orthopedics. This position provides the opportunity to offer high-quality, one-on-one patient care, participate in clinical mentorship, and contribute to team-wide growth initiatives, all while focusing on direct patient care. This role is ideal for clinicians looking to continue providing exceptional patient care while also engaging in professional development through residency and junior clinician mentorship, student teaching, and participation in various rehabilitative care-enhancing initiatives. The ideal candidate would have at least five (5) years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise, have strong communication and documentation skills and have experience in mentorship, clinical teaching, and/or leadership within a physical therapy setting.
