Cable Technician Assistant Cullman, AL Pay From: $18 per hour MUST: Experienced Cable Technicians Assistant Must have work experience Willing to learn CAT5e/6 and fiber optic cables and install Ability to work in small spaces. Ability to lift 40+ Lbs. Must have hard hat and vest DUTIES: Provide excellent customer service always. Assist technician with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure. Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic. Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method. Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards. Ensuring all cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled. Installation of cabling support components such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Installation IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras, wireless, etc... Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. Troubleshoot device and or cabling issues.
