Rotoflow, An Air Products Business, is seeking a Materials Shipping Technician is responsible for the manufacture of a wide variety of new and reverse engineered turbomachinery parts and components at our headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The Materials Shipping Technician is responsible for managing parts and assembling pre-packaged installation kits for equipment, ensuring timely shipping and quality control.

This role is critical in supporting the business in our warehouse operations, contributing to efficient order processing and inventory management.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Receive, package, and locate items for storage of all incoming spare parts, placing them on shelves or in drawers.

  • Retrieving items for shipping.

  • Package and prepare materials for shipment via various means (UPS, FedEx, common carrier, Expedited carrier, etc.)

  • Schedule and coordinate emergency shipments via same-day courier resources.

  • Safely operate plant material handling equipment as required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts for the business by ensuring timely receipt, consolidation, assembly, and shipping of installation kits.

  • Work as part of the team to efficiently receive, consolidate, and ship orders through the warehouse.

  • Ensure package quality by verifying correct parts and preventing missing items in shipments.

  • Track all shipments to minimize lost parts and monitor parts inventory levels to prevent shortages. Manage blocked stock inventory in SAP and monitor scheduled inbound deliveries.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to track missing deliveries and inform Specialists of expected arrival times.

  • Use SAP as the primary MRP system effectively to close out production orders, electronically pick parts, and deal with inventory discrepancies.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • 2 -5 years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is required.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP or comparable software is required.

  • Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Good written and verbal communications skills.

  • Able to work within a team environment with the ability to change priorities quickly.

  • Safety focused.

  • A positive attitude, reliable, dependable, and organized.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a union environment.

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Forklift certification is preferred but is not required.

  • Availability to work a 1st shift: 6:25am to 2:25pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Flexibility to work overtime.
