VP, Head of Digital Health Analytics Products About the role: Alcon is looking to hire a Head of Digital Health Analytics Products for our Digital Health team to define and implement a data and analytics strategy across our suite of digital health solutions. As Head of Digital Health Analytics Products, you will be the visionary force and champion for data-driven growth and innovation at Digital Health. You will be responsible for establishing an efficient data architecture across product teams, identifying transformative data analytics use-cases to drive growth and build our data and analytics capabilities by developing a high performing team of data and analytics talent. - Lead the development and implementation of the data and analytics strategyacross our suite of digital healthcare solutions
- Develop and maintain an efficient and effective data architecturethat enables the product teams to collect, store, analyze, model and report data for their software solutions and digital platforms
- Drive the development and operationalization of AI/ML solutions, business intelligence and data visualizationsthat support the business objectives of the product teams
- Build and develop a teamof high performing data analytics talent including data engineers, data scientists and machine learning engineers
- Work closely with cross-functional teamsto drive solution adoption, identify and prioritize data analytics needs that drive growth and innovation in product development
- Be the chief advocate of the value of data and analyticsincluding engaging executive leadership and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making
- Ensure compliancewith relevant regulations and data protection laws
- Develop and implement a consistent data and analytics delivery methodology, including assetization, to ensure efficient delivery and speed to impact
- Manage relationshipswith third-party vendors and data providers to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security
- Lead the development of best practicesfor data governance, data management, and data quality assurance

- Experienced:10+ years of relevant experience in data and analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity
- A data & analytics leader:
- Ability to lead theconception and design of analytics usecases, as well as the management of KPIs and OKRs for end-to-end delivery
- Experiencebuilding data and analytics platformstraversing on-prem and cloud environments, leveraging best-in-class technologies enabling use-cases ranging from real-time streaming to batch processing
- Ability to build anddevelop a team of data and analytics specialists(e.g., data engineers, data scientists) and guide cross-functional teams todeliver innovative data and analytics solutions
- Experience developingAI/ML models, business intelligence and visualizationsfrom conception to production and maintenance
- Mastery in interpreting and presenting statistics, organized and unstructured data analysis,predictive modelling approaches, anddata visualization
- Deep understanding ofstatistical analysis and AI/ML modeling techniques
- Expertise indata warehousing, data modeling, and database design
- Knowledge ofR, SQL, and Pythonand experience withdata visualization toolssuch as Tableau or Power BI
- Collaborative: An open and respectful leader, that enjoys working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment; able to respect other points of view
- Creative: Willing to challenge the status quo; able to understand when and how to take appropriate risks to drive performance; thought leader and innovator in the creation of new tools, processes, and approaches to problem-solving

- Healthcare interested/experienced: Experience (or interest) in developing solutions for healthcare and knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
