Introduction to the job

EO Technical Solutions (EOT) is a parts repair organization based in Vancouver Washington. EOT was acquired by ASML in 2023. EOT is a small organization focused on the PAS and XT platform. Its repair portfolio consists of more than 200 different parts. Besides parts repair, it also provides customer training and customer field support. Since EOT is a standalone business, it has all business functions in house. It also has its own cleanroom where systems are used for part testing and training. Its mission is to generate value for ASML by scaling its repair volume and support the overall ASML repair ecosystem by developing repair procedures for other repair centers. For this its scope has broadened beyond the PAS platform and also work on (N)XT parts.

The Senior Technician is responsible for executing technical activities, supporting production and logistics processes, and driving continuous improvement across operations. This role ensures compliance with safety and quality standards while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the successful integration of new products and processes.

Role and responsibilities
  • Technical Execution: Repair and rebuild of the Temperature Control Unit System. Perform technical tasks in accordance with standard procedures, guidelines, and handbooks.

  • Knowledge Development: Stay current with developments in the field, identify knowledge gaps, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Materials & Product Handling: Receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials, tools, and ASML products. Ensure quality checks throughout the build process.

  • Production Coordination: Coordinate and execute manufacturing activities, monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and assist in planning and prioritization.

  • Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E): Enforce compliance with HS&E policies and procedures. Conduct safety checks, report defects, and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest process and product improvements. Participate in the implementation of optimization initiatives.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and product transactions. Generate reports using standard formats.

  • Team Support & Mentorship: Assist and guide less experienced colleagues. Provide clarity on procedures and share best practices.

Education and experience
  • Associates' degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education, skills & experience.

  • HVAC certification and certification to handle refrigerants.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a technician or production support role.

  • Minimum 3 years experience proficiency in handling tools, equipment, and materials used in production and logistics.

  • Minimum 3 years experience ability to read and interpret technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
