Your Job Koch Ag & Energy Solutions is seeking a Scheduler for the Koch Methanol Logistics Team! Our Team This role will report to the Koch Methanol Land Logistics and Planning Supervisor and be based at our headquarters in Wichita, KS. What You Will Do Transportation Coordination: Coordinate shipments for customers out of Koch or 3rd party plants and terminals via truck and/or rail Freight Optimization: Strategic freight negotiation, equipment optimization between modes/locations, and service level monitoring. Inventory Management: Maintain up to date inventory runouts for reporting and planning purposes, collaborate to forecast and allocate resources, and ensure optimal asset utilization. Customer Service and Building Relationships: build and sustain positive relationships with internal/external customers, terminal, and carrier contacts. Transformation and Strategy: Contribute to the idea generation, implementation and transformation of transportation strategies and procedures The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capability to work on detailed, time-sensitive tasks across multiple systems. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit a strong ability to preemptively solve problems and resolve issues. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 2+ years of professional work experience Experience collaborating with internal and external partners Experience leveraging MS Office Excel in daily activities (for example: creating spreadsheets, pivot tables, etc.) Experience leveraging technology to enhance and streamline processes What Will Put You Ahead Experience in Planning Bulk Chemical Rail and Truck Previous experience using analytical or transportation management systems This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
