What to Expect
As a Release Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the quality of our internal software from development to launch. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with end users, analysts, data engineers, and developers to implement robust testing strategies, automate quality processes, and mitigate risks that could impact product performance or customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced software environment.

What You'll Do
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:Define, implement, and scale unit tests and testing strategies for software features, ensuring they meet functional, performance, security, and usability standards before releases
  • Automation and Tooling:Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Collaboration and Reporting:Work closely with product, product ops, and engineering to gather requirements, report on quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, est coverage), and provide insights for product improvements
  • Post-Launch Field Support:Train and inform users of new upcoming changes. Monitor product performance in production, investigate issues reported by customers or internal teams, and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in quality engineering or QA roles, preferably in software product operations or GTM teams Experience with agile methodologies and SaaS products is a plus
  • Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Postman for API testing)
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for automation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities; strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting findings

    Expected Compensation
    $96,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
