JOB SUMMARY: The HR Generalist/Recruiter fulfills dual roles, overseeing the complete recruitment cycle, which includes candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing. As well as HR Administrative responsibilities.

While the primary focus is on recruitment, this position also will be involved and may be responsible for additional HR duties. These may include employee file administration, benefits administration, employee relations, on boarding, off boarding, policy implementation, and HR data management.

A hands-on approach is essential for effectively managing daily HR operations, collaborating with hiring managers, ensuring legal compliance, and actively contributing to the development of the organization's people-focused initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate Sourcing:

  • Utilizing social media, internal & external job boards, networking, and employee referrals to find potential candidates.

Candidate Screening:

  • Reviewing resumes and conducting interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.

Hiring Manager Collaboration:

  • Working with hiring managers to define job requirements, set hiring goals, and understand departmental needs.

Process Management:

  • Guiding candidates through the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer and onboarding.

Offer Facilitation:

  • Negotiating salaries and terms of employment to secure top talent.

Employer Branding:

  • Maintaining a positive experience for candidates and representing the company's culture effectively.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Creating job descriptions, managing candidate databases, and maintaining relevant records.
  • Data entry and HR Reports as assigned
  • Maintaining HR files
  • Participates and assists in coordinating in HR and other Company events, as needed (i.e. open enrollment, job fairs, etc...)
  • Reviews and processes the monthly invoices (i.e. Recruitment agency, etc...) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Crucial for building rapport with candidates and managers.
  • Organizational Skills: Necessary for managing multiple candidates and a fast-paced hiring environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media recruiting tools. (ADP Recruitment Experience a Plus)
  • Knowledge of HR & Labor Laws: Understanding legal requirements related to hiring is essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: A strong attention to detail is needed for managing the complexities of the hiring process.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 Years HR Generalist/Recruiting experience, preferably w/in a manufacturing environment
  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in related field preferred, Bachelor's preferred.

PAY RANGE: $75,000 - $85,000 per year DOE
