Software Consultant, Senior (WFM Time + Attendance)

As a Senior Functional Consultant for Infor's Workforce Management software (WFM), you will have a wide range of responsibilities focused on providing functional solutions and leading practices to meet the needs of our customers. You will be a part of a team of professionals that play a key role in implementing solutions and delivering results. Skilled at providing in-depth analysis and the ability to provide resolution to broad, complex, and critical work, the Senior Functional Consultant will act in a lead capacity on complex projects, mentoring and guiding others in all aspects of an implementation lifecycle with specific emphasis on systems analysis, functional design and testing.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Lead full-cycle implementation including Kickoff, Requirements Gathering, Functional Design and Documentation, System Configuration, Testing, and Training, ensuring compliance with Infor Deployment Methodology.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and translate those requirements into a set of systematic specifications for development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the features of the WFM software to properly and effectively utilize features to meet customer needs.
  • Research, document, configure and test all functional elements to meet customer policies and procedures and state and federal laws.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Development and Customer Support, when needed, to communicate customers' needs and design solutions.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships. Provide quality service to both internal and external customers. Earn credibility as a trusted advisor throughout Infor and the customer organization.
  • Seek to understand customer issues and delivers appropriate solutions based on product core functionality and Industry leading practices.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with Time and Attendance and scheduling software.
  • Consulting experience with face-to-face customers including presentation skills.
  • Project-related experience with exposure to all phases of software development including Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing and Deployment.
  • Skilled in analyzing and documenting business requirements and corresponding solution specifications.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and/or union contracts.
  • Industry-specific expertise (Healthcare, Public Sector, Manufacturing).
  • Experience writing database queries in SQL.
  • Exposure to Infor Workforce Management software.
