Job Summary

The Custom Reports Analyst is responsible for using system tools and in some cases high level language tools to develop custom reports for ZOLL customers. They will interact with customers to gather requirements and will develop and maintain custom reports to meet the customer need. They are responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standardized and/or customized reports. The right candidate will be an independent hard worker who pays attention to details while demonstrating outstanding communication skills. This position will be expected to grow expertise into SaaS product custom reporting using Birst and Izenda BI tools, as well as being able to write custom reports in Crystal Reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Create scope of work for each project with accurate data, cost, and time estimates
  • Create reports according to guidelines while suggesting improvements to style, formatting, use, and technical requirements.
  • Solve problems and work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Validate reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Set client expectations of dates for different milestones in the process
  • Explain rules, interfaces, reports and calculations to customers to ensure that the customization's meet their needs
  • Plan and coordinate a schedule of company and customer training classes, available online
  • Manage revenue forecasts for training offerings and custom reporting
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for training delivery (if applicable)

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • An Associate's degree or better from an accredited school preferred
  • EMS or healthcare reporting or analyst experience preferred
  • 2+ years of data reporting experience
  • Experience in writing MS SQL queries, views, stored procedures
  • Critical thinking and consultative skills
  • Query optimization and troubleshooting techniques
  • A high degree of personal motivation, initiative, and flexibility
  • Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with many different departments within a company
