If you have real-world experience in the servicing of energy infrastructure, the deployment of inline inspection tools, or provisioning of NDT services along with excellent communication skills and the desire to work with rapidly evolving technologies, we want to hear from you. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class team revolutionizing industrial imaging.

The role will be based in Houston, TX with 50% travel across North America.

In this role, you will have opportunities to gain or enhance your skills and experience in:

Our Team

Our machine vision, imaging, computer graphics, and data analytics experts have introduced a highly differentiated acoustic-based ILI system - Kraken. The ILI operations team at DarkVision works closely with engineers and manufacturing technicians to prepare and deploy the tools that provide operators with a clear view of their piping infrastructure. What You Will Do

  • Job Preparation and Execution: Support the planning, preparation, and execution of ILI field operations across North America. Deploying new technology naturally necessitates troubleshooting problems that arise in real-time. With remote support provided by specialists, troubleshooting on-site and improvising under pressure will be critical to overall job success.
  • Equipment Management and Tool Testing: Inspect, calibrate, and test tools and critical equipment. You will work with engineering teams to help optimize turnaround processes for ILI tools, test and qualify ILI tool configurations, and plan tool logistics between jobs. DarkVision improves and develops products rapidly, and this role will be instrumental in ensuring that field operations processes keep up with engineering development.
  • SOP Development and Documentation: Contribute to the development, creation, and organization of technical procedures, checklists, reports, and other program documentation.
  • Communication: Quick, clear, and effective communication with customers, subcontractors, and DarkVision staff is your responsibility. Represent DarkVision with pride and uphold our reputation for excellent service quality.
  • Everything & Anything: There will be a wide assortment of standard and not-so-standard tasks that you'll be expected to complete, both inside and outside the typical field deployment umbrella. The role has an entrepreneurial side so that no task will be either above or beneath you.

  • Able to freely travel between US and Canada. If necessary, we will help you obtain the necessary work permit to work in Canada.
