Position: Nurse Educator Department: Nursing Education- Obstetrics Schedule: 40 Hours, Days Position Summary: The Nurse Educator sphere of clinical practice influences patient care, nurses' competencies, nursing practice, and the development or organizational systems. The Nurse Educator demonstrates leadership by inspiring others to give compassionate, remarkable care to improve patient outcomes. In working with nurses, the Nurse Educator facilitates the development of the spirit of inquiry, critical thinking and skill synthesis and promotes nursing's contribution to patient outcomes. The Nurse Educator functions in collegial relationships with physicians, nursing peers and other professionals and individuals who influence the health environment. Incorporated within each tole function, the Nurse Educator is a role model, patient advocate, change agent, leader, and cost-effective practitioner. Requirements:
