Job Title: Senior Revenue Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical in driving revenue insights, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making across our fast-growing software business. You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, and Product teams to ensure revenue integrity and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Forecasting & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasts across product lines, geographies, and customer segments.
  • Analyze trends in ARR, churn, upsell/cross-sell, and renewal performance.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve revenue predictability and performance.

Revenue Recognition & Reporting

  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes with revenue reporting and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and improve revenue dashboards and KPIs for executive leadership.

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with Sales Ops and Customer Success to understand pipeline dynamics and customer lifecycle impacts on revenue.
  • Support pricing and packaging analysis for new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Assist in building financial models for strategic initiatives and M&A evaluations.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Partner with RevOps and IT to enhance revenue data integrity across CRM, ERP, and BI tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline revenue tracking and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue analysis, FP&A, or related roles in a SaaS or software company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.) and revenue recognition principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, and other revenue-related systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
