POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: LOAN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: PRIORITY FUNDING LLC

FLEXIBLE WORK PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY CODE: Remote Work (RW), Hybrid Work (HW), & Flextime (FLT)

FUNCTION:

Under the joint supervision of the assigned Loan Officer(s) and the Priority Funding Loan Processing Manager, the Loan Operations Specialist handles pre-closing processing for their assigned loan files.

DUTIES:

  1. Handles Pre-Closing Processor duties for assigned Loan Officer(s). Pre-Closing Processor duties include:
  • Gathering loan conditions from customers and Loan Officers.
  • Clearing loan conditions with client investors.
  • Ordering, reviewing, and delivering appraisal reports, flood certification and other required items.
  • Working with insurance agents on obtaining or correcting binders.
  • Verifying employment for customers.

2. Assists other Loan Operations Specialists in their department to resolve issues as they arise.

4. Handles general customer service issues.

5. Embraces the Bank's commitment to Solutions by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to different areas of the Bank, Partners Insurance Group, Plimoth Investment Advisors, and BayCoast Mortgage Company.

6. Performs additional duties as requested.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good time management ability and interpersonal skills required. At least two years of prior loan/mortgage processing or similar experience required.

Equipment Used:

General office equipment. Computer.
