Maintenance Technician

• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Conduct shift rounds to inspect, monitor, and document system and equipment performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire life safety, dock equipment, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose and repair components such as pumps, valves, motors, transformers, MCC panels, and solenoid devices.
• Support facility upkeep through tasks like plumbing fixes, painting, and minor building/electrical repairs.
• Manage maintenance projects, parts ordering, vendor coordination, and subcontractor oversight.
• Record work results in CMMS, analyze findings, and recommend PM updates.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and customers to ensure clarity of work requests and project status.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or some college preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry); equivalent training/experience considered.
• Valid driver's license, fork truck operator's license, and JLG operator's license required.
• Proficient in interpreting technical instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and interact effectively with teams and customers.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, email, work order systems, and building automation/maintenance software.
