WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Provide pro-active executive administrative support to Global Leaders and additional support to Leadership Team members as needed including management of team calendar and operating system and team meeting & event coordination.
- Lead and schedule the Leader's calendar including prioritizing and resolving related conflicts and opposing demands, proactively scheduling relevant meetings with internal and external individuals, and maintaining an organized global function.
- Organize and coordinate domestic and international travel accommodations and plans; prepare expense reports in line with company policies and procedures.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, presentations, and internal communications to support key business initiatives.
- Compose, proofread and answer routine correspondence; prepare selective summaries and any follow-up actions for the Leader's.
- Coordinate, plan, and prioritize small-to large-scale meetings, both onsite and via Microsoft Teams Live.
- Develop, prepare, monitor, and maintain special projects and programs as requested.
- Contribute to writing, editing, and distribution of content across diverse channels including intranet, email, newsletters, video, live events, digital signage, social media, etc.
- Development and preparation of correspondence, documents and/or presentations; efficiently creates charts, graphs, tables, and text slides; responsible for formatting consistency and accuracy on time-sensitive, high-profile documents.
- Handle contacts list for global sales organization.
- Provides additional support to the leadership team when requested.
YOU HAVE:
- Preferred college degree in business management or related field, or training / experience in administrative assistant skills, office management and/or administrative studies.
- 5+ years experience supporting Leaders preferred.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams; with the desire to learn evolving technology platforms to help support overall communications.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities coupled with an ability to be a resourceful team player who is very effective independently.
- Shown time management and organizational skills including the ability to handle calendars and effectively maintain records and files.
- Expert level written and verbal communications.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, and welcoming relationships with collaborators, including board members, external partners, investors, and analysts.
- Proven ability to achieve high-performance goals in a growing and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various opposing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of support and response.
- Experience in coordinating meetings, preparing and monitoring event budgets, assisting with travel (domestic & international).

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour
