Founded in 1977 as the Senior Care Action Network, SCAN began with a simple but radical idea: that older adults deserve to stay healthy and independent. The Job Directs the organization's Total Rewards functions (Compensation and Benefits) and establishes related programs and policies. In conjunction with other members of the leadership team, develops a Total Rewards philosophy and strategy that assists the organization in meeting its business objectives. Provides thought leadership, ensuring SCAN meet its people goals of attracting, developing and retaining best in class talent while maintaining fiscal discipline. You Will Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for HR actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers and/or directors. Primarily responsible for strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for Total Rewards in alignment with organizational objectives. Establishes Total Rewards policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization's long-term success. Evaluates and selects data vendors, consultants, brokers, and advisors and negotiates contracts, seeking to balance competitiveness with cost control. Oversees annual compensation and benefits processes, including market pricing, salary reviews, incentive plan administration, sales commission plans, open enrollment and related activities or communications. Evaluates market data, industry trends, and best practices, seeking opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of the Total Rewards program and pholisophy. Ensures compliance with relevant regulatory standards and statutes. Partners with technical teams in reviewing our Total Rewards tech stack and plays a lead role in future platform evaluations, design and implementations We seek Rebels who are curious about AI and its power to transform how we operate and serve our members.
