Job Overview

As a Production Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission-critical defense programs, spearheading the manufacturing of ruggedized circuit boards and LRUs for advanced avionics systems. In this key role, you will drive program success from planning through delivery, ensuring we meet the highest standards for performance, quality, and reliability. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and quality compliance for our defense avionics products.

Key Responsibilities



  • Spearhead the execution of production programs, ensuring strict adherence to cost, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Act as the main liaison with our customers, providing timely updates and resolving issues to ensure program milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to drive efficient production and resolve issues.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Manage program budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace industry regulations, including ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), AS9100, and MIL-STD requirements.
  • Work closely with business development and contracts teams to support proposals, pricing, and negotiations for follow-on production contracts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management within a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance in the defense sector.
  • Experience managing customer relationships, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in program management tools such as MS Project, Oracle ERP/MRP systems, and risk management methodologies.



Preferred Qualifications



  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Direct experience with ruggedized electronics, circuit board manufacturing, or avionics integration.
