Description

Do you have Truck Mechanic / Diesel technician experience? We would like to talk with you! We have an industry leading training department to enhance your skills. From minor truck repairs to CNG fuel system inspections, CNG engine maintenance, or major internal CNG engine repair, this opportunity is an exciting next step for your future growth. Don't have CNG experience? Don't worry, we will provide the training you need to do your job safely and efficiently all while you are getting paid!

Our shop facilities are clean and organized using our 6S processes across our network. We have the tooling, equipment, and diagnostic software for you to be successful in providing high quality preventative, predictive, maintenance and repair services. What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to perform and record all repairs
  • Repairs and maintains customer vehicles, Class 8 CNG Tractors and some Diesel units.
  • Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs, and scheduled maintenance
  • Test drive vehicles over 26,000 GVW.
  • Assist other technicians when needed.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Standard tech owned tools are required.
  • Major shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialty training is provided.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
  • The associate must be able to read and write reports.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Truck Repair experience required
  • Preferred: certificate or degree from college or technical school, with a minimum of 2 years related truck experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • ASE Certification in PMI & Brakes preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CDL license preferred or must be able to obtain.
