Position Title: Seed Sizing Technician Wage: $16.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm (Mon-Fri) + Weekends, Evenings, and Overtime as needed QPS Employment Group is hiring a Seed Sizing Technician for our client in Waverly, NE. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating equipment to size, clean, and prepare coated and non-coated seeds. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and wants to join a growing company in the seed enhancement industry. Seed Sizing Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Transfer coated and non-coated seed products to the sizing area. - Inspect seed products before and after sizing for uniformity, contamination, or abnormalities. - Operate seed sizing and cleaning equipment. - Weigh, count, and sample seed batches for accuracy. - Transfer finished seed products for packaging. - Maintain accurate records, data entry, and labels. - Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area. Seed Sizing Technician Requirements: - High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Biological Sciences, or related field preferred. - Basic math, computer, and communication skills. - Forklift experience helpful but not required (training available). - Must have a valid driver's license. - Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for long periods.
