We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations by overseeing key human resources functions. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes and employment law, along with the ability to work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to ensure a positive and compliant work environment. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance.



  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and HR-related inquiries.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote a positive, respectful workplace culture aligned with company values.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEOC).
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS system (UKG, ADP).
  • Prepare HR reports for management and external audits as required.
  • Assist with performance evaluation processes and coach supervisors on performance issues.
  • Identify training needs and support implementation of workforce development programs.
  • Help facilitate safety and compliance training in coordination with EHS.
  • Support benefit administration including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination.
  • Work with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate timekeeping and pay practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to HR and operations.
  • Support employee engagement and retention events and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, shift-based operation.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This role operates both in an office environment and on the manufacturing floor. PPE required when present on the manufacturing floor.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support operations or investigations.
