This is a full-time opportunity to work on a modern fleet of garbage trucks in a stable, safety-focused environment. Pay & Schedule Hourly Pay: $35.00 - $36.00 +$1.50/hr shift differential Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Key Responsibilities Performpreventive maintenanceandrepairson diesel trucks andheavy equipment. Diagnose and repairelectrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. Usevehicle diagnostic toolsto identify and resolve mechanical issues. Conductsafety inspectionsand ensure compliance withOSHAstandards. Maintain accurate records usingfleet maintenance software. Address issues fromDriverVehicle InspectionReports (DVIRs). Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications 1+ yearof diesel mechanic or heavy truck repair experience, or completion of a vocational-technical program. CDLpreferred(or willingness to obtain within 90 days). Must havepersonal tools. Strong diagnostic andtroubleshootingskills. Ability to read and interprettechnical manualsand servicedocumentation. Weldingexperienceis a plus!
