Our physicians and researchers are on the front lines of fighting heart and vascular diseases - at the patients' bedsides, in the research lab, and in our community. The technologies, techniques and treatments we develop are setting standards in cardiac care. Under the supervision of the on-duty charge nurse, the hospital telemetry technician carries out dysrhythmia monitoring responsibilities. Monitors, identifies, and reports to RN cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and any changes in baseline rhythm. Communicates with physicians and nurses any changes in rate, rhythm, measurements. Acts as resource to staff. Achieves trust in professional relationship with nursing staff and physicians. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $54,017 - $67,129 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $25.87 - $32.15 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
