About You

The Rent Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial platform in all aspects of rent invoice validation and entry.

In this role, you will...

  • Attend monthly and/or quarterly client meetings with Database Management Lease Analyst to remain appraised of changes within the client's real estate portfolio.

  • Maintain cost centers and general ledger account codes.

  • Meet regularly with the APAC rent team in preparation for the upcoming rent process.

  • Entry of monthly charges into client databases, when necessary, due to time constraints.

  • Completion of pre-audit checklist.

  • Attend new client on-boarding calls and support the transition team in administrative duties related to the rent process.

  • Perform quality control of rent reports and associated back-up documentation

  • Distribution of rent reports to client by due date to obtain approval of rent file.

  • Preparation of monthly funding requests for rent pay clients.

  • Annual review of process manuals and playbooks as it pertains to rent presentment and/or payment.

What you'll bring...

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the commercial real estate lease administration industry and/or paralegal, accounting or property management fields having worked in either (or both) the Landlord or Tenant sector.

  • Working experience with commercial real estate database applications such as ProLease, Harbor Flex or Virtual Premise and accounting software such as MRI or Yardi or other lease management database systems.

  • Knowledge of AR, billing agreements, rental obligations, and thorough understanding of client agreements including boundaries of scope of work, fee structure, billing frequency and payee information

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, real estate, or similar field.

  • Extremely detailed oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills

  • Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong analytical and technology/database skills.

  • Strong commitment to individual, department and organizational success

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $70,000 to $75,937.50
