We are seeking a motivated and dynamic mid-tier Sales Representative to join our team and represent the newly launched Durst P5 X, a groundbreaking system that blends true-flatbed and roll-to-roll printing capabilities in one versatile solution.
This role is ideal for a results-driven salesperson with experience in digital printing technology who is looking to join a global leader in digital printing innovation.
This position will be responsible for driving sales of the mid-level market P5 X platform and related future products in a similar class, cultivating relationships with customers, partnering with direct sales personnel and dealers (in some cases), while positioning Durst's cutting-edge technology as an essential investment for businesses seeking productivity, flexibility, and growth.
This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States. It will report to offices in Texas and/or Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the Durst P5 X family across target mid-tier markets.
- Educate prospective clients about the unique features and benefits of the P5 X, including print speed, high-resolution quality, adaptable flatbed and roll-to-roll functionality, and upgrade options.
- Identify new business opportunities within small to mid-size print shops, sign and display companies, and commercial printers seeking expansion or equipment modernization.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and live tech showcases to highlight the P5 X's capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical, service, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure complete satisfaction during the sales cycle.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, accurately forecast opportunities, and prepare market insight reports for management.
- Represent Durst at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits as a brand ambassador.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in digital printing, large-format printing systems, or capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of flatbed, hybrid, or roll-to-roll technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience selling to the target client base is a major plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a technology-driven industry.
- Ability to explain complex technical features in a clear and compelling way that resonates with business decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly across regional territories to develop customer relationships and grow market presence.
