Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Lodging Front of House Agent DIVISION: Lodging REPORTS TO: Lodging Front of House Supervisor LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Resort CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal / Full-Time / Hourly POSITION SUMMARY: Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our lodging team . This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional guest and homeowner service, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests and visitors. As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in representing the resort and creating a positive first impression. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver exceptional guest service Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries Respond promptly to guest requests Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports Assist with snow shoveling in the front desk area as needed Maintain lobby coffee service Assist in mailroom operations Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS: Previous guest service experience preferred Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities Keen attention to detail Basic accounting skills Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Capability to work independently without supervision Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT Solitude Mountain Resort is an equal opportunity employer.
