PREPARE Content Manager MED-CORE-GERI Full Time 86335BR Job Summary The UCSF Division of Geriatrics seeks to recruit a full-time PREPARE Content Manager (PCM) to work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and her PREPARE for Your Care team. The focus of the PI's program is investigating and improving healthcare communication and decision making in older persons. The PI's research focuses on aging, health literacy, health disparities, developing and testing tools to facilitate health communication and informed medical decision making, especially for historically marginalized older adults. The PREPARE Content Manager will be the project manager for all educational content for the PREPARE for Your Care program, an easy-to-use, online, secure, advance care planning (ACP) program that uses video stories and easy-to-read advance directives to help people make medical decisions. The program also includes easy-to-read advance directives for all 50 states in multiple languages. The PCM will report to and work directly with the UCSF Principal Investigator (PI). The PREPARE Content Manager will also work and collaborate with other members of team on a series of grants and projects related to PREPARE. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $62,500 - $93,800 (Annual Rate). We train healthcare professionals at all levels, from students to seasoned clinicians, using innovative curricula and teaching in multiple settings such as classrooms, clinics, hospitals, and homes. Required Qualifications
Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with the team and external collaborators Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes and able to work under minimal supervision Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, strong accuracy and attention to detail Experience with Google Suite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and Dropbox Previous experience using project management tools and software, website and video management and managing social media platforms Preferred Qualifications
