Machine Operator - Fabricator B - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:

* Operate machines and/or equipment such as but not limited to CNC Panel Bender, Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses, Spot Welders, Lasers, Brake Press, Die Stamping (will be expected to operate any assigned machine) to fabricate metal into parts for use in manufacturing process

* Load and unload materials and/or parts into or out of the machine with precision and accuracy

* Select proper software program to run specific parts on the machines and make software modifications as necessary

* Preventative maintenance tasks

* Visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy and defects

* Train employees on procedures and techniques

* Assist in defining work instructions

* Housekeeping and workstation organization tasks

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Must have good numerical abilities

* Must be able to read and understand blueprints

* Familiarity with small hand tools and measuring devices

* Must have good computer skills

* Has strong attention to detail and desire for precision and accuracy to uphold quality standards

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to adhere to strict attendance standards

Physical Abilities:

o Ability to lift to 40lbs

o Ability to perform body movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, turning, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine manipulation

o Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day

o Ability to visually inspect details to spot defects

* Preferred: Prior experience with fabrication and/or machine operation in a manufacturing setting
