Job Summary
Provide overall leadership, vision, direction, coordination, and implementation for assessment and summer guest housing efforts for University Housing at UT Dallas. The Associate Director of Assessment and Guest Housing will work with university partners and stakeholders to create a comprehensive assessment strategy that evaluates all of University Housing in an effort to aid in decision making and communication by University Housing leadership. The Associate Director will also supervise an Administrative Project Coordinator, that will be the key lead in facilitating a summer guest housing program made up of internal university groups and corporate interns.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5-7 years related professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5-7 years experience with data and analytics
  • 5 - 7 years project coordination/management
  • 3 - 5 years university housing or campus event management

Other Qualifications
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and implement a comprehensive assessment strategy for University Housing. This will include routine meetings with other University Housing areas, coordination with the Director for Data within Student Affairs and other University Staff as necessary.

Create reports, conduct focus groups, analyze data and compile reports to provide data for informed decision making for University Housing Leadership and communicating University Housing efforts to stake holders both internal and external to the university.

Supervise Administrative Project Coordinator, who will assist in assessment, but largely supports summer guest housing efforts for internal groups and corporate interns.

Collaborate with campus partners to ensure all services and needs of clients are being met; ensure all billing and invoices are paid to appropriate departments; create processes and procedures to maintain excellent communication and accurate information to campus partners.

Overall responsibility to maintain, monitor, and coordinate operations of large complex fiscal budget and account; develop and implement marketing strategies to potential summer group clients and corporate interns; other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
