Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-2pm Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full new hire process, including orientation, onboarding, and smooth integration into the organization
- Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including developing job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and advising on selection decisions.
- Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Oversee internal HR communication tools and programs, ensuring employees remain informed and engaged.
- Administer employee recognition and engagement programs, helping foster an inclusive and motivating work environment.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, process improvements, and compliance audits.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and uphold the highest standards of data privacy and professionalism.
- Partner with HR leadership on strategic assignments that align HR practices with business objectives.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience required; HR Specialist or Generalist experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools, with a strong eye for data integrity and process efficiency.
- Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence, advise, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
