Requisition ID req34718 Working Title Admin Assistant 1 Position Grade 06 Position Summary The University College Advisement Center (UCAC) welcomes applications for a full-time benefits eligible Administrative Assistant 1 (AA1) staff position. UCAC is prominently located on UNM main campus. We offer academic advisement to a cohort of students majoring as undecided/exploratory, pre-health, liberal arts & integrative studies, and non-degree. The AA1 serves as the first point of contact. Responsibilities will include interaction with visitors, answering phone, handling mail, scheduling academic advisement appointments, and maintaining the reception area while performing general administrative tasks. Managing the front desk operations and supporting UCAC staff daily operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in customer service, time management, and organizational skills as a team member of a highly skilled academic advisement center. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
