Position Title: Welding Supervisor

Their primary weld types are MIG and SAW of carbon steels. This pivotal role oversees welding projects to ensure quality, safety, and continuous improvement, requiring advanced technical expertise and strong leadership. Apply today! Welding Supervisor Responsibilities: - Mentor welders and foster a culture of safety, quality, and improvement - Plan and manage welding projects to meet timelines and budgets - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AWS/ASME standards; lead root cause analysis - Enforce safety protocols and lead training sessions - Ensure readiness and calibration of welding and robotic systems - Maintain records and communicate performance metrics - Coordinate with engineering, QA, and production - Monitor and improve KPIs such as weld quality, throughput, and safety Requirements for Welding Supervisor: - 5+ years in welding, 2+ years in supervision; MIG and SAW welding expertise preferred - High school diploma required; technical training/certification preferred - AWS, CWI or CWS strongly preferred - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment; familiarity with industry standards and codes - Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address quality issues - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively address issues that arise during welding projects - A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to enforce safety protocols and procedures - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously | |
