Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25-$30/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3pm QPS is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician skilled in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and thrive on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform all entry level tasks as needed such as building maintenance, trips to hardware store, and routine preventative maintenance to forklifts, fire extinguishers, lights, etc. - Independent work on entire pieces and/or subsystems of production equipment - Preventative maintenance of the molding machines and auxiliary equipment such as granulators, water temperature controllers, etc. Maintenance Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Training and experience in at least one of the following skills: hydraulics, pneumatics, machinery repair, electricity, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, welding - Prior experience in using hand/power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, Skil saws, etc. - Valid Wisconsin driver's license - Skill in using measuring instruments - Ability to work independently - Ability to read blueprints - Ability to diagnose and repair devices and mechanisms of moderate difficulty - Ability to read and understand factory manuals on different pieces of equipment and apply the knowledge to the task at hand - Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and lift - Personal set of hand tools - Ability to work overtime and/or Saturdays as required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
