Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Wage: $25.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri) We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Office Manager to join a fast-paced production packaging facility in Quincy, IL. This role is essential to keeping the front office running smoothly and supporting the logistics, inventory, and administrative functions of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable using Excel and Outlook, and have a solid understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure are critical for success in this role. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Answer phones professionally; schedule and confirm appointments with vendors, drivers, and clients. - Use Microsoft Excel to manage inventory logs, shipment data, and internal reports. - Monitor and organize emails using Microsoft Outlook for shipping schedules, order confirmations, and internal communication. - Handle shipping and receiving paperwork, ensuring accuracy in documentation, labels, and tracking. - Maintain inventory control systems by logging incoming shipments, monitoring stock levels, and reporting discrepancies. - Assist with coordinating logistics for inbound and outbound shipments. - Work closely with warehouse and production staff to ensure clear communication and accurate record-keeping. - Maintain a clean and organized office environment. - Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Requirements: - 1-3 years of office or administrative experience, preferably in a production, manufacturing, or logistics environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational and time management abilities. - Reliable transportation is a must. - Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a consistent attendance record. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting. - Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or packaging environment preferred. - Familiarity with shipping systems or inventory software preferred. quincy@qpsemployment.com IND118 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
