Roles and Responsibilities

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in an efficient and safe manner. This Forklift Operator is a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
• Receive, store, and distribute products in warehouse or production areas.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure forklifts are operated safely and maintained in good working conditions.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid forklift certification/license (required).
• Previous experience as a forklift operator or in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.
