What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

• Manage and ensure completion of SIRE inspections for ACBL vessels and barges and assist with responding to customer inquiries.
• Serve as continuous improvement champion by correcting SIRE deficiencies and working with ACBL stakeholders to reduce preventable observations.
• Coordinate with third party SIRE inspectors to inform them of vessel locations and track/meet SIRE due dates.
• Assist with investigations by collating information from data systems and coordinating with other ACBL stakeholders.
• Assist with updating the Safety Management System.
• Publishes and updates Tug/Barge Particulars Questionnaires on OCIMF website.
• Process invoices and assists vendors with account inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate QI training and annual exercises with Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO).
• Update and submit Vessel Response Plan edits to the Unites States Coast Guard for approval.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

You will need to have:

• High School diploma/GED
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have good analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must possess ability to communicate professionally and effectively through all media channels.
• Must possess proficiency in using MS Office software.
• Must wear Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Must be available for occasional travel.
• Must be available for On-Call support 24/7.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and TWIC card.

Even better if you have...

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Management, Health & Safety or a related field.
• 5-8 Years of relevant work experience.
