Requisition ID req34756 Working Title Administrative Assistant 3 Position Grade 08 Position Summary The Clinical Law Program at the UNM School of Law is a law firm where advanced law students represent clients under the guidance and supervision of Law School faculty who are licensed attorneys. We are seeking a highly organized individual with strong communication skills to join our administrative support team. This position shares responsibilities for day-to-day office operations and provides direct support to multiple law practice areas. The support duties include, but are not limited to: * Answer phones, greet clients and maintain a welcoming front desk environment * Compose clear, professional written communications * Follow established opening/closing procedures for the office * Administer the lifecycle of confidential client files through an online case management system * Assist clinical law students with office procedures and protocols This is an opportunity to contribute to a legal/academic program that makes a meaningful difference in the community, while supporting law students as they gain real-world experience. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications * Front desk or administrative support experience in an office or educational environment * Experience with records management and/or database programs * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization * Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 * Experience maintaining confidentiality * Familiarity with Spanish language Additional Requirements Campus Main - Albuquerque, NM Department School of Law (588A) Employment Type Staff Staff Type Regular - Full-Time Term End Date Status Non-Exempt Pay Hourly: $18.09 - $23.27 Benefits Eligible This is a benefits eligible position.
