Sr. Director of Case Management

A Sr Director Case Management overall responsibility to ensure that case management operations are functioning according to contractual needs of the program. Responsible for leading and mentoring directors of case management and case management lead workers, protecting the health, safety, and well-being of the youths on their caseload and providing clinical and technical case support.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Director of Case Management: $100/hour

Pay commensurate with experience.

Sr. Director of Case Management Responsibilities Include:

• Serves as leader for a team of directors, case managers and lead case managers.
• Oversees the case management operations and protocols of the program.
• Reports to the Site Director on case management status and issues.
• Oversees the implementation of training initiatives.
• Assists as needed to overcome barriers to operations.
• Monitors and holds directors and leads accountable for required work and productivity goals to meet government metrics.
• Assists in identifying resolutions to cases requiring prioritization for placement based on vulnerable category or time in custody.
• Provides case management direction over various inter departmental support services.
• Establishes and maintains confidentiality per federal standards and all applicable codes of ethics for department.
• Establishes the environmental, cultural, safety, diversity issues and needs to represent the implementation of protocols.
• Participates in daily/weekly supervision meetings with immediate directors and Senior Leadership and participate in monthly staff meeting.
• Represents Case Management in departmental, government and executive meetings.
• Documents meetings, contacts, and case progress by completing paperwork, progress notes, incident reports, and writing individual services plans.
• Communicates regularly with immediate Shift Site Director to make recommendations on process changes, inter department partnership to achieve metrics.
• Addresses appropriate issues and challenges, including sharing solutions during conferences and meetings.
• Accepts and implements direction, instructions, and corrections from immediate supervisor.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, mental health, social welfare, or other related field of studies is required. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of four (10) years of experience managing case work, child welfare, or social service cases. Minimum of 5 years of operational experience.
• Must be organized as well as, have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, collaborating agencies, and community professionals.
• Ability to successfully pass a federal background check is required and must maintain a clear criminal background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Strong customer service background
• Spanish/English bilingual fluency helpful
• Able to effectively manage significant documentation.
• Able to prioritize and be accountable for deliverables, timeliness to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Possess sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
• Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize duties and responsibilities efficiently.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
