PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Operates the fertilizer blending tower and assists in plant production operations in coordination with ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Creates fertilizer blends based on work orders provided by of f ice and sales staf f for general fertilizer Insures all orders are accompanied with a work order, delivery ticket, or invoice. Assists Plant Manager in scheduling tower production in a systematic fashion to ef f iciently utilize Supplies product for the bagging operation. Has primary responsibility to maintain and repair all blending tower equipment including plant Assists Plant Manager/Shop Operations Manager with coordinating repairs and rebuilds of all blending and packaging equipment as needed. Minimizes waste. Provides advance notice to Plant Manager / Sales Manager when raw material Counts and records inventory as required by Plant Manager. Assists Plant Operations Specialist to maintain and repair all equipment in the plant. Assists Plant Operations Specialist in receiving products into the plant. Assists Plant Operations Specialist in loading the tower. Assists Plant Operations Specialist with housekeeping, organization, and product security within the Utilizes computer applications as necessary to enhance business processes. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Collects and maintains product samples according to guidelines set forth on general fertilizer and Assists in the bagging operation as needed. Assists in cleaning break room and offices. May be asked to serve on the location Safety Committee. Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof , and 1 year or more of related work Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Continuously exposed or required to: Ability to work extended hours. Ability to travel independently and overnight.
