WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Understanding of applicable EHS regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts; provide operations leadership solutions as applicable.
- Lead environmental processes to ensure regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives are met in relation to waste management, water consumption and energy consumption.
- Engage plant personnel and other personnel in leading day-to-day environmental compliance according to permit and policy requirements.
- Lead EHS documents, vendor contract and permit administration.
- Facilitate required EHS training to ensure all regulatory and company obligations are met.
YOU HAVE:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in an engineering or science field from an accredited institution required.
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience in environmental science, policy, and regulations. EHS experience in a manufacturing/production environment highly preferred.
- Knowledge of recordkeeping and reporting for: Clean Air Act (Title V), SARA Tier II, SARA 313, RCRA, EPCRA, SPCC, SWPPP, Discharge Monitoring Reports and DOT/Hazmat Regulations, and OSHA.
- Experience interacting and communicating with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $62,900.00 - $116,900.00
